Do you only build sites for brand-new or very small businesses?

No. A good share of our work is for businesses that have been running for years, restaurants, clinics, contractors with crews, shops, and professional practices, where the site is the weakest part of an otherwise strong operation. The plans are sized by how much site you need, not by how big your company is.

Question 2

My project is bigger than eighteen pages. Can you still help?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Multi-location sites, large service catalogues, booking and quote systems, and migrations from big existing sites are scoped individually. You get a fixed written quote before any work starts, the same build process, the same revision window, and no retainer.

Question 3

Is there anything you won't take on?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and we'd rather say it upfront: high-volume online stores syncing inventory across warehouses, deep integrations with proprietary enterprise software, and corporate procurement that requires vendor onboarding, insurance certificates, or master service agreements. For those, an enterprise agency is the better fit and we'll tell you so on the first email.

How can you charge so much less than agencies?

We're a small studio with no sales team, no office overhead, and a modern build process. We pass those savings on to you without cutting quality.

Is the monthly care plan required?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. Your build is a one-time charge, your domain is included free, and hosting stays on us. The monthly plan is purely for ongoing care, small edits, monitoring, and priority support. Skip it or cancel any time and your site stays live exactly as it is; you just pay per change when you actually need one.

Question 6

If I cancel the care plan, does my site go offline?

Accepted Answer

No. Cancelling only stops the ongoing care, your site keeps running on our hosting and your domain stays connected. You can restart the plan later, or have any change quoted before we do it.

Question 7

Does the care plan replace the one-off edit fees?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that's the whole point of it. Without a plan, every change after your revision window is quoted before we start it, so you always approve the price first. On a care plan, those routine small edits (copy changes, image swaps, link and hours updates, seasonal tweaks, adding a short section) are already covered by the monthly fee, so you just email us and we do it, no per-edit invoice. Essential is $35/mo, Signature $25/mo, and Premium $15/mo, with the first year free on Premium. Bigger work that's outside routine upkeep, a brand-new page, a new integration, or a full redesign, is still quoted separately, and we'll tell you before we start. Two or three small edits a month and the plan has already paid for itself; if you rarely change anything, quoting each change as it comes is the cheaper route. Either way it's optional and you can cancel any time.

Do redesigns cost the same as a new site?

No, they cost less. If you already have a live site, your copy, photos and page structure exist already, so there's less groundwork for us. Redesigns are $149 for up to seven pages, $229 for up to twelve, and $379 for up to eighteen, against $199, $299 and $499 for the same thing built from a blank page. Everything else is identical: the domain and SSL are handled, your existing links are redirected, and you get seven days of unlimited revisions after the first draft. You approve the finished redesign, receive the card invoice, and it launches after payment clears. Bigger rebuilds are quoted individually.

How do I pay?

You review the finished site first. Once you approve it in writing, we email a secure Stripe invoice payable by credit or debit card. No account or deposit is required, and the site goes live after payment clears.

Do you ever run discounts?

Accepted Answer

We do. We run occasional promotions, most often around the holiday season, and we may extend a discount at our discretion at other times of year. Offers are limited, can't be combined or applied to work already invoiced, and they never change a price you've already been quoted. If you're curious whether something's running right now, just ask when you send your audit request.

How long does it take to launch?

Essential sites typically launch in 3 to 5 days from kickoff, Signature in 5 to 7 days, and Premium in 1 to 2 weeks depending on scope. Those are estimates from kickoff, once your content is in, if we're waiting on photos or copy, the clock waits with us.

How does the 7-day revision window work?

The clock starts the moment we hand over your first full draft, not before. From that moment you get 7 days of unlimited revisions at no extra cost: headline and copy edits, image and color swaps, layout tweaks, section reorders, font changes, button/link updates, and mobile polish. If you love the draft on day 2 and approve it, we launch on day 2 and the site is finalized, you don't have to wait out the full week. Not included (billed as a paid edit): brand-new pages, new third-party integrations, restructuring the sitemap, e-commerce or booking systems that weren't in the original scope, or a full section redesign. The window pauses if we're waiting on content or feedback from you.

Question 13

What counts as a paid edit after the window closes?

Once the 7-day window ends (or you've approved the site early), any change without a care plan is quoted before we start it, a copy tweak, image swap, new link or section, whole new page, or page-level redesign. Small changes go live the same day. Routine small edits are included while a care plan is active; larger new work is quoted first.

Why are your booking hours different from your listed business hours?

Because they cover two different things. Our studio hours, the ones on our Google profile, are when we're designing, building, and replying to email; that's when you'll get a written response. Our call hours, on the booking page, are the shorter windows we reserve for live video calls. Deliberately separating the two keeps large blocks of the day free for actual build work and means a booked call gets our undivided attention instead of being squeezed between tasks. If none of the open slots work for you, just say so by email and we'll find a time.

Do I have to get on a call?

Accepted Answer

No. Most projects run entirely over email, which suits a lot of owners better. After your audit we include a link to book a short video call if you'd like to talk it through, it's there if you want it, and skipping it doesn't change anything about the work or the price.

Is the domain really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every plan (Essential, Signature, and Premium) comes with a free domain for life. You never pay a renewal fee for as long as we host your site.

Question 17

What if the name I want is already taken?

Accepted Answer

Domains are first-come, first-served across the internet, so if the exact name you want is already registered by someone else, we can't take it from them. During kickoff we check availability and, if needed, help you pick a strong alternative, a close variant, a different extension (.co, .studio, .agency), or a short brandable name that reads just as cleanly. If you already own a domain, even better: we'll connect it to your new site at no extra cost.

I already own a domain, what do you need from me?

Accepted Answer

If you'd rather keep the domain in your own registrar account, we need temporary access to it in order to publish the site. That's the only route, there's no workaround, because it's the only way we can connect and hand over a working site on a domain we don't hold. It usually takes about ten minutes, we do it with you on a scheduled call so you watch every change as it happens, and you revoke the access the moment we're done. The access covers DNS settings only, nothing changes who owns the domain, and there's no downtime, your current site stays up until the new one resolves.

Do you handle the SSL certificate?

Yes, and it's included on every plan at no extra cost. We issue and install the certificate when your site goes live, so it loads over HTTPS with the padlock in the address bar from day one, and we renew it automatically before it expires. You never have to buy one, install one, or think about it, with or without the care plan.

Who actually owns the domain?

You do. When the domain is included with your plan, we register and hold it so renewals, SSL, and DNS all stay handled in one place, but it's your domain and your name on the business. If you ever want it sitting in your own registrar account instead, we transfer it to you. No fee, no friction, no argument.

Why keep the domain with you?

Accepted Answer

Mostly to keep it off your plate. One bill instead of three (registrar, SSL, hosting), no expired-domain surprise that takes the site offline, no lapsed card on file quietly killing renewals, and any DNS change you need gets handled by us the same day. Renewals stay free for as long as we host you. And if you'd rather hold it yourself, we transfer it over whenever you ask, there's no penalty either way.

Where does my website actually live?

On our managed platform, free, and we handle it for you. We keep the SSL certificate valid, run backups, and keep the build in our system so any change you ask for can be made and pushed live the same day. If you'd rather the site live in your own registrar or hosting account, we'll publish it there at no charge, we just need temporary access to your registrar to set the DNS records, and you revoke it once the site is live. Either way, the domain, your copy, your images, and your brand assets are yours the whole time.

Can I host the site on my own registrar instead?

Yes. Hosting is free and we handle it for you by default, but if you'd rather the site live in your own registrar or hosting account, we'll publish it there at no charge. We just need temporary access to your registrar so we can set the DNS records, and you revoke it the moment the site is live. Either way, the domain, your written content, your photos, and your brand assets are yours and we'll hand them over whenever you ask, free. What we don't hand off is the build environment itself, edits and support run through our platform, which is what keeps changes fast and your site stable. If you'd rather rebuild elsewhere down the road, nothing stops you: you keep the domain and everything you gave us, and we'll point it wherever you say.

Do you set up Google Business Profile?

Yes. Signature and Premium include setup or cleanup of categories, services, hours, service area, photos, description, and the website link. Essential can add it by quote. The work is done with your permission in an account you own. Google controls verification and placement, so neither is guaranteed; ongoing posts and review management are not included.

Will I be able to see my website's stats?

Accepted Answer

Yes on Signature and Premium. We connect consent-gated Google Analytics in a property you own and configure supported actions such as form submissions, phone taps, and booking clicks where applicable. Essential can add it by quote. Analytics reports activity, but it does not guarantee or prove leads, sales, or why a customer chose you.

What is the difference between basic and advanced SEO?

Every plan includes the basics: unique titles and descriptions, clear headings, image text, a sitemap, crawler settings, and accessible structure. Signature and Premium add deeper schema, performance work, Search Console guidance, competitor keyword review, and suitable local pages. These steps may help search engines understand and surface the site, but indexing and rankings are never guaranteed.

What happens after launch?

Hosting stays included either way. Most clients also add a care plan: $35/mo on Essential, $25/mo on Signature, and $15/mo on Premium, and Premium includes the first year free; if you don't want to continue after that, just email us and we won't charge you. That covers edits, monitoring, and priority support. Bigger plans pay less per month because the upkeep is more efficient.

Do you offer ongoing SEO?

Signature and Premium include advanced SEO foundations, Google Business Profile setup, and consent-gated analytics at launch. Ongoing content or profile management is separate and must be agreed in writing. We never promise rankings, indexing, traffic, leads, or sales.

Is my site secure?

Every build ships hardened: security headers and HTTPS enforced, SSL kept current automatically, spam and abuse filtering on your forms, rate limiting so forms can't be hammered, and automated blocking of scanners and abusive traffic. That's included at no extra cost on all three plans. We also offer a pre-launch Security Check for $49 (included free with Signature and Premium), we review the finished site with industry-standard scanning tools, apply the fixes, and send you a plain-English written report (there is a full sample on our Security Check page). On a care plan you also get an email alert if the site is hit by an attack or a scan, plus a re-check each quarter. Being straight with you: these measures reduce risk, they're a review rather than a certification, and no website, ours or anyone's, can be guaranteed secure.

Is my site accessible to people using screen readers?

We build to accessibility practices aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA, semantic markup and landmarks, alt text on the images we produce, visible keyboard focus, logical heading order, readable contrast, labelled form fields, and respect for reduced-motion settings. That's how we build, not a certification: we don't guarantee ADA or WCAG compliance, and content you add after launch is yours to keep accessible. Formal audits and remediation are available as a separate service.
